As others have stated, 67D and Bulletpoint are great! Still depends on how much you planning to attach and use them for. I use a dash bar from PBI Customs. They're american made too. And having the bar helps when my wife is in the jeep and when I want to use extra stuff. Kinda pricey, but best money I've spent.

Mad a funny video about it:

I use the pro clip, but for when it really counts I use the 857 ham radio (pictured attatched to the clip) for comms. The phone sits in the console connected to the USB network inside that console.

But how do you change what is displayed on the head unit, in android auto, the Glad's screen doesn't work like the cells screen. Only the cell screen works to change what is displayed, right?
I am not sure what you are asking. Android auto shows apps just like your phone.

All this talk of phone placement and grip strength while offroading, blah blah.

Color-matched arms > everything else.

Great setup. Crazy ham radio. Love that sub-compact face.

Looks like ProClip still sells the larger mount for JKs. So your old JK ProClip mount fits on your JT without and modification? If not, what did you have to do to make it work?
It required zero modifications, but there is a trade off. I had to gracefully flex the front clip portion of the ProClip down over the rubbery head unit bezel. It doesn't touch the screen at all, but it holds it tight enough to leave an impression in the bezel. The mount is currently held in place by compression/friction, no tape. I'm not worried about leaving the impression since I figure that mount is there for life. It's rock solid. I've been through some significant terrain and nothing has shaken it lose yet.

I do own the new version of ProClip's mount, but I just wasn't happy with it. I didn't like how it blocked access to the dash tray and it was too skinny across for mounting options.

Glad to have found this thread!

I’m in Phoenix and mounting anything in the tray on the dash is a no go for me. The sun beating through the window would make the phone blow up in a few minutes haha.

I like the look of the offroam mounts that attach to the air vents. That way I can have ac cooling the phone
