I have some detailed shock questions for fox.

-Basiclly I want 2 inches of lift. (I don’t want the factory 2 inch lift shocks)
-I do long distance over landing sometimes rough roads at speed (AKA shock cycling and heat)
-I want external reservoirs with adjustment

They make them for the JL (upper shock bolt is different)

I know the gladiators rear shock valving is softer then the JL since they don’t always have that much weight in the back but with my canopy RTT fridge and everything ill have 1500 pounds almost always in the back. SOOO it might get back to a JL weight balance.

So I’m thinking if fox will install the JT upper shock sleeve on the JL 2 inch lift external Res shocks I think this would be a great solution for me. The measurements for JL and JT shocks have the same overall length (within .25 inch)

But I want some professional shock advice.

I called already and I got a sales guy at a computer and the answer I got was we don’t have that.
You are correct that they don't have them market-packaged that way, but they do offer vehicle specific mounting hardware which can be used with a different shock body. Their .pdf catalog starts to explain how this can be done. Their "Universal Key" begins that on page 32.

going to read that tonight thanks I hadnt seen that sheet before
Check out Fox Part # FOX-985-26-053. I believe that shock should be perfect for a 2" rear lift. Additional statement from a readily available distributor (to which I am not affiliated):
Fox Universal Performance Series shocks utilize a 1.5" mounting width with 1/2" bolt, Poly Performance offers parts to change this to almost any common mounting width and bolt size, please contact us for more information.

Did you ever come up with a solution?

I'm driving on the Fox Elite 2.5s and was less than impressed. I cracked them open the last week and have gone down the road of valving them myself........Trick is im not a shock tuner, but understand the inner workings and theorys.
