So I have aftermarket 35” tires and rims. Yokohama Geolanders and Fuel Militia wheels. When I first got the truck I was shocked to find that the tires were at 45 PSI from the dealer. I lowered them down to 37 PSI and ran them like that till today when I did a chalk test and found they were still too hig so I brought em down to 30. Problem is now the truck thinks they’re too low cause I‘m getting a warning from the TPMS System.

I tried to reset them using the tire fill presets under the apps menu but it’s not working. Is there a way to reset the system so I’m not getting the warning running them at 30? Apparently it wants them at 40 PSI although it didn’t give me any warnings at 35. Only today when I brought them down to 30.

You can do that with a Tazer.
So The answer to my question is no I take it? I don’t have e a taser. I‘m wondering if there’s a way to reset the system using the trucks features.

Taser JL but not sure if you wanna pay that much unless you find other uses for one in the future.
I don’t. I just want to know how to get rid of the annoying warning light while running my tires at 30psi if possible through normal channels.

I just want the truck to recognize 30PSI as normal pressure not as a low tire.

You will need at least a security bypass and software from what I understand.
Tazer, or jscan and bypass cable, etc.

Crime fighter.
You may as well go ahead and set yourself up with Jscan. $20 for app license, $25 for bypass cable, $25 for obd adapter and you’re set.
You didn’t mention having the dealer reflash the speedo for your larger tires, so I figure you still need to do that as well. It won’t drive as well as it can until you do.
So for around $70, you can adjust the tire warning, recalibrate the speedo for your larger tires and therefore get better shifting, diagnose any check engine lights that’ll eventually come along (it IS a Jeep after all), plus all kinds of other bonus stuff like turning off seatbelt warning, horn on lock, change location of DRLs, and so on.
And unlike Tazer or some of the others, if you ever get a different Jeep, you pay $20 for a new license for that vehicle and you’re good to go.

Oh ye of little faith. We've owned Jeeps since 1987. Comanche, Cherokee, multiple Grand Cherokee, a Liberty and now my JT. (and my son has a Compass)
I've only had one instance of MIL - my 04 WJ with over 128,000 miles finally showed an error - O2 sensor. Turned out the sensors were fine, it was a fluke that isn't uncommon with the PCM version and such that it had. I reset it and it was fine until I sold it.
We've only ever had one instance of an engine issue - misfire with my wife's 2021 Grand Cherokee the dealer took care of. (no code set)

Other than that - not a single MIL.
Most people will go for as long as they keep their Jeep with no check engine, no MIL, no nuttin like that.

As far as jscan or similar - it's an extremely helpful thing to have software like jscan (you license it per VIN) or AlfaOBD (far more power, once you buy it you can use it on any "FCA" or a huge list of vehicles on their site.

Simple things like reset tire pressure settings, change tire sizes, change how the lights work, in my case I added passive entry and programmed that via software, I enabled auto high beam, set my tire size, and diagnosed the misfire on my wife's Grand Cherokee (no MIL and no code saved)
