halo, where did you get the t-bar from? any source?
do you have any recommendation of lowest cross bar in market?
thanks buddy.
Raymond, I ordered the components to make the crossbars from tnutz.com. Might be able to find the components for less, but they cut everything to size and they carried plastic end caps which cleaned up the ends of the bars. I'm attaching a screenshot of my order. They were out of stock on some of the L-brackets, so they reached out and asked if they could substitute the slotted L-brackets instead. I'm glad they did as this made assembly easier. I had to drill out one side of the L-bracket holes to enlarge them for the M8 bolts used to bolt the crossbar down to the weld-nuts added to the tracks on top of the EvoA.

Saw one of these in the wild today mounted on a black JT, but it happened too quick for me to snap a pic. It's really a good looking cap.

I just installed my cap this past weekend, and I am also trying to get a super low profile rack for my tent. I ordered the square weldnuts that RSI said fit their tracks (currently backordered), and my plan is to bolt a pair of 2x2 steel tube cross bars directly to the cap tracks. This will only leave 3/4" or so for bolting up the tent...but if I'm careful...
I ordered my SmartCap just yesterday. They recommend 4 people to lift onto bed although I’ve heard of some doing it with just a couple people. What was your experience?

Yup. 3 of us plus a 16 year old kid who was stronger than all of us.

I can't seem to find a page with technical specs, specifically how much the Sport and Adventure weigh.

Here's my SmartCap with a RSI Rack, and the hoist I modified to lift it with. The cap is about 170 pounds and the rack is another 40 pounds.

Does the MOLLE tilt or otherwise move out of the way for interior access via the side windows?

I'm interested in the hoist. Will that put an RTT on top of the Smartcap?

It should work. It is a engine hoist from Harbor Freight. I added a piece of uni-strut to get the lift height needed, and about 160 pounds of ballast to keep it from tipping over.

Ha, good eye on the 60 series. Got the EvoA built up and installed on Saturday. Built it on my own in about 2hrs, then 4 of us lifted it in place. Along the front of the bed, I used both the included foam strip and butyl tape to fill the gap. At the tailgate I used 10mm spacers provided, but then added another 5/16" rubber cut from a 3" rubber plumbing coupler from the orange box. Test fit the Tepui up top and there is plenty of clearance over the cab and over the positive air pressure vent.

Thanks for sharing your solution with photos. I am a few years behind you be trying to solve for the same problem. I have yet to find a great product that has as low a profile as you've created.

I have a couple aluminum load bars in my garage that appear to be the same profile as you have here but they are double slotted. Should work fine though.

How did you fasten the load bars attached to the bottom of your tent, to the rails on the canopy?
