Magnetic rock lights

where did you mount the 8 light pods? 4 in the wheel well I assume and where did the other 4 go?

I can't answer to above, as I only have 4 lights, but I did wire mine to the light in the bed if that helps, so when I unlock, the lights go on and if needed, I turn the bed light on when driving (mainly beach at night), I have a bed cover so light doesn't bother back window. Plus the magnets give you the option to fine tune where you want them. I have had them about a year and no movement at all. Mine are more of courtesy lights,
