oh okay haha must be an old joke. None of the chinese or russians i know drive those and i was like "what the hell is he talking about?!". now i kinda get it. I do think its interesting how many manual transmission vehicles there are in other countries. Its super common. Even in new cars.

I've been KZ for 14 days. "Vivian" said to check back next week but it could take up to 30 days. Great.

Went to Jeep chat today to check the official status code looks like I'm in KZ as well. About 12 days for me since the dealer said it shipped. Randy said ETA is TBD

everyone I saw in the Caribbean islands, and 75% of the people in the UK still drive manual trans cars and trucks. dunno why everyone in the US wants a 'mid sized' SUV and an automatic. mid-sized SUVs are just mostly cars with a different body glued to them.

So get this. I'm razzing one of my buddies wife asking if she got a Gladiator for her birthday (he's a cheap ass, so there is no way that would happen). Come to find out she works for the company that staffs MOBIS, which makes Jeep/Gladiator components right next to the plant. She says they have been pumping out Diesel setups for production. Just another piece of the puzzle on why we all may be waiting a little longer than we'd like.

Been in KZ Status since last Friday. Stopped by my dealership on Saturday and they confirmed it's on a train headed to Winston-Salem, NC where it will then go to my town by truck about 3 hours away. A guy ordered an LE about 2-3 weeks before me and his (as of last Saturday) had been sitting in the rail yard in Winston-Salem since July 8th. Dealer said FCA had been backed up at that location getting vehicles on trucks. I'm not complaining at all, I just hope it doesn't sit there for a long time when it is only 3 hours away.

Your dealer should have given you the breakdown of your order. There should be a VON number on it. You can use FCA chat (https://fcacommunity.force.com/Jeep/s/knowledge) to get a VIN once it becomes a "good" order.
