Hello Everyone,

Does anyone know how to disable the speed limiter of the Gladiator Eco diesel. (for off-road purposes) The truck tops out at 155kmph in 8 gear with 37's. We are doing some testing for a new product and need to reach speeds much higher than that.

PS- We have a private runway for testing.

Thanks,

Don't know about the diesel, but the Tazer Mini deletes the speed limiter I believe.

Also don't know if you can get it in Canuckia.

There are a lot better choices for doing 100+mph than a lifted jeep...

I have not used any of them, but I think that AlfaOBD would be the most likely to have access to that option. Tazer and Jscan should also be able to. Tazer is the most expensive option of the three.

I'm interested to see whatever it is you're testing. Cool! Be safe.

Wow, QUOTE much higher than /QUOTE
100 mph in a vehicle with 37" tires

and a Jeep, no less. This will be interesting.

Hard to imagine an actual need for that sort of speed so watching this to see what the heck requires that sort of speed.

I agree, I bet AlfaOBD can do it - with the MX+ adapter.

Since you have a runway, the only real problem with this is that I don't think any 37" off road tire is rated for that kind of speed... Unless that's what you're testing. Either way, be safe and share with us what you're working on whenever you can.

I'd forgotten about the tire speed rating. Start slinging that heavy tire around at that speed..........

Yeah I'm not sure I've seen a 37" rated for 100mph let alone 150+

This has peaked my curiosity in a train wreck kind of way.
You'd have loved the Iowa State Fair 100 years ago, then. They literally crashed two steam locomotives at the fair grounds.
