Sounds like a great setup and may cancel out my idea to mount them where the spare is.

Great timing as I just picked up a VIAIR 444C dual compressor kit that I was originally going to mount where the sport tire was. Just curious about the air intake for the pumps, where are those located so that water does not impact these?

I ran the intakes into the drivers side wheel well near the gas filler tube. I may get some softer hose and route them to the engine bay later.

I spent the weekend installing a complete onboard air system on the gladiator. Here’s a list of the parts I used:
Maximus-3 compressor and tank mount
Viair 425 gen 2 dual compressors
Viair 2.5 gallon 200 psi tank
Up-down air tire inflation system
Kleinn JL220 air horn kit

Just curious about the air intake for the pumps, where are those located so that water does not impact these?

I ran mine into the engine bay. I kind of wish I'd gone with a wheel well, not sure how much the engine heat will matter. With the compressor and tank being in a hot area already, it's a lot of heat load.
