Anyone have experience with both of these and care to share pros and cons?

Can’t help with those two choices but I bought a set of Bunker industries of eBay for $60 they are 47” have a built in jack base in the middle sell on Amazon for $80. They seem pretty sturdy and strong reviews on Amazon are good though I have not used them.

I live by this philosophy ....where my life or others with me may be put at risk, I don’t skimp on equipment. With that being said, I have no clue on the rugged ridge. Maxtraxs I have are solid as a rock.

There are lots of good video reviews/demos of all of the options on YouTube. Maxtrax held up the best in the ones I watched, but XBull did pretty damn well, and for $60 on Amazon prime day, I couldn’t pass up. Also, I could replace them 5 times before I hit the cost of one set of Maxtrax. For my use, I’d never put them through the stress the guys on YouTube did either.

I have the X Bulls as well. They are fine.

Maxtraxs have a bit of a tax on them.

I have the X Bulls. I've used them twice to extricate my vehicle from soft sand. They have held up well so far.

@RBArthur82 is your X-Bull winch doing this?

I don’t have an XBull winch, just the recovery boards.
Thanks for the clarification. Obviously I wouldn’t recommend the winch. Garbage! You get for what you paid for. Won’t make this mistake again. Went off someone else’s recommendation. I should have known better.
