I purchased this a while back it is finally here and I am having it professionally installed next week. At first I was thinking I didn’t need it but then I went on a pretty rutted trail where the ruts cut diagonally and the stock suspension was crossed up. Oh boy did it rub. ??
Sony question is. Who is running game changer. And how do you like it ? I plan on running their shocks I am kinda interested in how they compare with. The rubicon shocks.? How is the street ride ? I will be running my stock wheels and BFG ko2 37 x12 tires that is what is on there now.

One of my Jeep buddies at work is getting his 21 Overland Diesel lifted with the MC this weekend. He's had the MC GC on his 2014 JKUR forever, with 35's. It's been a super solid lift for him.

He's getting the MC front driveshaft, I asked him about whether he's lowering his carrier bearing and he didn't know. Might check into that for your truck.

Yes I got it installed but I didn’t measure it
I know it will go inside a parking garage with a 6’10” clearance. I am running BFG ko2 in a 37. I will measure it and post. I really like the lift and was gonna use stock wheels with spacers. But. There were no spacers available and ended up with method
Race wheels all black the installer said that they have van inner lip that locks the tire on better than conventional wheels. Sorta like a bead lock but not. I think the original fox shocks that on the rubicon are better than the base shock on the metal cloak lift. So I will probably upgrade later but they aren’t bad. So big it’s in your budget go to an upgraded shock right away. I noticed a little tail step out on washboard roads in corners

I just had one installed in May with Nitto Trail Grappler 37s. I love it. I did it for the same reason as you… too much rub on the bottom. My maiden voyage was the trifecta (Poison spider, Golden Spike, Goldbar Rim). It ran it like a champ. I did Fins N Things a week later and no rub whatsoever although you can still get your hitch if you don’t depart some features at a slight a turn. I was sure to do all the “advanced” parts ?

My only issue with the MCGC is the rear track bar is so beefy, I had to air down my Nitto spare to 11 psi to get it to fit underneath. The track bar is a lot beefier than the stock Rubicon, so you have a bit less room to squeeze into. I wish it had a bend in it like the Clayton.

So question on those who have installed.... how much did you have to clearance out the axle side track bar bracket? I had to grind it down pretty much wall to wall and quite a bit towards the inside... making me wonder if I should get a little reinforcement welded up.
