Hi! 2022 Gladiator - Rubicon with a manual transmission here. I was just changing the transmission fluid, and noticed maybe 2-3 metal chunks in on my drain plug. I know it's normal to have a fine powder, and sometimes concerning to have chunks. The chunks were no larger than a grain of sand, and I'm almost positive it was from a bad shift. If I know that I ground some gears recently (I drive it pretty hard, and was down in sand hollow for a week), is it safe to say that the transmission (as long as I'm not grinding gears anymore) is OK? and I shouldn't have to take it in? It drives fine, I'm just more worried about some sort of catastrophic failure on a trail.

could be from any number of things. I would think benign if driving normal.

If its not whining or grinding during shifts your "should" be fine.

Maybe run it for another 30 days and do the fluid again for piece of mind

The problem is, somebody, somewhere, thinks she’s the hottest thing on this planet.
That is the saddest thing I read in years?
