I’m probably getting my terminology wrong. The only way I can explain it is with the Wildpeaks I had to put a bit more effort into centering the steering when going down a straight road at 55-65 mph. It is the same description you find when talking about negative caster in relation to alignment. With the Baja Boss A/T’s it feels like it takes a little bit less effort and feels better in how it drives according to your effort. When you say better steering are you guys meaning easier to steer or less wobble?
When I am going around a corner at 20-30 mph the Wildpeaks made the steering feel a bit too easy or “loose” to turn whereas the Baja’s feel like more responsive steering.
Basically the truck turns as fast or as slow as the effort I’m applying to the steering wheel and feels more where I want as opposed to feeling kinda sloppy.
But that could easily all be just in my head and I just needed some new tires to be happier with the way it handles. So new better tread narrower and taller tires made it better in my opinion of how my truck rides.
