End of September will be 15 years in. It will take some serious drugs for me to go over 20 years and 11 days commitment to stay in the Army longer. Currently at Fort Hood, supposed to go to Fort McCoy Wisconsin. Trying like hell to make sure that doesn't happen.

21.5 years in the Air Force, 12 of that in RED HORSE. Got my DD214 in January 2006.
Thank You All for Your Service!
In since 2011, been RED HORSE the past 7 years, currently at the 823d. Wife just got orders to Greenland, so I’ll be joining her at her follow on. I’ll miss the horse for sure.

I retired from the Army last summer after 27 years. Stayed here in the NCR. Interested in finding others to go wheeling. Anybody find any good places that aren't an hour + away?

20 years flying these bad boys on the east coast. With my Dad, a WWII PT gunner/radio operator, we had the pleasure of watching the USS Iowa, BB61, fire two of these off the coast of New England when we were onboard for a run from Newport, RI down to New York City In 1989. Two weeks after our ride the number two turret exploded.

Newbie, here. But I've spent 33 years working for Air Force , but I have accepted a AGR position doing the same job for the Air Force. Hopefully I'll do two 4 year tours which this addition will be added to my Reserve time already spent. So I haven't picked up my DD214, yet. But hopefully in the near future.

A senior I deployed with in my sister unit has had his AGR position for years- that guy has it made.
