Not the OP but.......those are Aluminum "L-Track". The tailgate plates you see WERE made by a company called SpecGate (offshoot of Terra Acoutiscs). Unfortunately, they are now defunct.Alright, I'll bite - what's the rail system attached to the 2x8 and correlating tailgate cover?
Thanks for the response T-Spud, that Specgate piece is sweet! - especially with the multi level attach pointsNot the OP but.......those are Aluminum "L-Track". The tailgate plates you see WERE made by a company called SpecGate (offshoot of Terra Acoutiscs). Unfortunately, they are now defunct.
Yup, you are old.I guess I'm olde, a propane tank fits nicely in an olde milk crate.
No rollin'.
Crickey, am I really that olde?
Yup, spelled old with an "E", I guess I yam.
Sorry, been working in the yard all day. It's a shame SpecGate is gone, it's a slick system that ads a lot.of utility.Alright, I'll bite - what's the rail system attached to the 2x8 and correlating tailgate cover?
I don't have a milk crate, or I would have done that. I still like being able to add a strap between the 2x8 and the tailgate for smaller things.I guess I'm olde, a propane tank fits nicely in an olde milk crate.

I use it for that too, I just kept it around because it's nice to keep small loads from rolling up to the front where they are hard to reach.Am I the only one who uses it for its intended purpose of hauling 4x8 sheets?![]()
Still Around....Bought a few at Home Depot. just for that purpose. Or maybe a secret desire to be the Milkman.Yup, you are old.
Milk crates went the way of the home delivery milkman and the T-Rex.........
True, you don't see T Rexs doing routine maintenance at hotels anymore ....Yup, you are old.

I see all these fancy custom bed separators and I don't have that kind of skill.
What I do have is a low tolerance for annoyances like straping down a propane tank so it can't roll around when going for a refill.
