Mojave cowl mount hardware?

I know another member posted their success using the Go Rhino mounts, so I ordered some.

But I can't find appropriate hardware. I got some Home Depo m6 80mm, but thread pitch seems wrong and not going to force that.

Did anyone already do the leg work and have a good option/solution? Thanks!

M6 x ???
There are multiple theead gauges/pitches. You need to find to correct one and it will work correctly.
Take the bolt with you, use the thread gauge guide they have in store if needed to determine the correct one you need.

Right on, was trying to save the trip and just order since it seems like the selection is rough at my Lowe’s.

Go to a real hardware store and take the bolt with you , you can check by using the metric nuts in bins to see which fits. Get stainless hardware to not worry about painting or rust. That looks like a really cool cowl light set up nice and low profile…..Jack

Thanks, so it’s definitely m6, think I need an 80mm. The ones I grabbed from Home Depot definitely don’t thread though. It’s an odd shape being so thin and long. (TWSS)

M6 is half of thread equation. The pitch has to match as well.

Everything was included mount wise......made an easy install of my Diode Dynamics SSD3 ditch lights

See if there's a Fastenal store nearby.
They're typically going to have a larger selection.

Or just pull the factory cowl bolt, measure it and buy what you need.

Those are nice, I’m mounting these up. Stealing the idea from another member/post saw long ago.

I went looking for another project and ours stopped selling to regular consumers and apparently doesn’t make anything long enough in 6mm.

Ok so here it is. See attached pictures.

If you're going to wrench on vehicles........you need this handy dandy tool.

Buy SS hardware and add a thin coat of anti seize or die electric grease to prevent dissimilar corrosion. Plus it will keep cheap hardware from rusting and staining you paint
