Mojave and diesel have same part number for cowling light braket that must mean the diesel also has the higher cowlings and higher hood? Any pictures of a diesel hood yet?....Jack

I just attempted to install a set of cowl light brackets on my JT Mojave. They don’t line up. Turns out the cowl on the Mojave is deeper than other JT and JL models.

Hood profile is also different. . . . tried to install AVS 436148 Aeroskin II. . . . it does not match hood profile

Success. FYI. The bolts need to be one inch longer than the ones that come with the brackets. I will probably paint them black. I couldn’t find black m6 3” long.

I just attempted to install a set of cowl light brackets on my JT Mojave. They don’t line up. Turns out the cowl on the Mojave is deeper than other JT and JL models.

I noticed this about the cowl just from the Jeep builder page as well but hadn't thought too much about it. Look at the image below:

I like the low profile as well. Go Rhino are the brackets but did I miss what the lights are?

Well, I tried to mount this bolt kit and the bolts were not long enough for the Mojave. But it might work for the Wrangler or NON-mojave or NON Diesel gladiators. I am returning them. I got a text from rockhard4x4 and it sounds like they are already working on a mount for Mojave specific fit.

Don't return them. The bolts need to be 1" longer and can be found at any ACE Hardware.

You might need to use


Theses are $26 at Amazon. You might need to source longer bolts. But it could work for you until a decent bracket is available. I have a set and I can measure the screw length if you are interested.
