So I may pull the trigger on a used rubicon steel bumper for my Mojave. What’s the tricks on getting the factory skid to work with it?

Got this yesterday and paired in about 20 seconds. Had to run a few errands and out of 5 vehicle startups, I had one instance where the device didn’t pair automatically and I had to unplug the adaptor, plug it back in, and it worked like a champ. How do you like the wireless CarPlay? Any issues?
I do hear a little bit of a bang, feel a decent jolt in the steering wheel.Does anybody here drive their Mojave Offroad rather hard? Do you guys get a loud bang when you hit the front bump stops?
Yes, alarming at first but totally normal.Does anybody here drive their Mojave Offroad rather hard? Do you guys get a loud bang when you hit the front bump stops?
I just did this on Friday. An important note is that the ebay knock-off only requires 2 small trims. The mopar bumper requires more but isn't horrible (start with the same 2 trims and then an additional quarter inch from the trim points to the outside edge ... I'll take pictures later today). The steel is thick enough that you will want an angle grinder and some eye protection. I am taking it off today to clean it up with a sander and then painting the raw edges. How would you trim it?
Just paint them.Putting a stubby on my Mojave, want to get some orange shackles to match the orange accents. Anyone know of any decent quality that color-match within reason?
I would... but I don't have any. I am going to order some and it seems like if someone has found a solid set that I don't have to paint then I can just get those.Just paint them.
