Hey everyone! I am just popping in to get some advice. I have my wheel and tire combo, but after doing a bit of math, I am concerned about weight.
I ordered my wheels, AEV Borah, which weigh 33 lbs (without protection ring?).
I have the shop getting in 37" Falken Wildpeaks, which weigh 82 lbs!
These combined, I am looking at 115 lbs at each corner on 37s.
Is that pushing it on the stock 4.10s? Both the wheels and tires I choose are heavier than average. I don't plan on doing anything else to the Gladiator until winter. Which means not swapping gears (if I ever do) until November/ December.
Would it be wise to swap to 37" Ko2s (Load C) to drop the weight to 96 lbs per corner?
Or just go with it?
Extra info: The Gladiator is my daily, not my offroad rig. I drive 6 miles to work on a boring, flat road with a 40 mph speed limit. I don't beat it unless there's snow. Not swapping gears any time soon, if ever.
