Anyone swap Mojave Coils on their Rubicon yet? The Mojave coils give 1in of lift in the front end, and look like a good way to dump the front rake.

I sourced the following part number from a Mojave owner:

P68442570AA - PS
P68442596AA - DS

As soon as the parts are delivered I’ll update this thread.

Mojave coils might be a softer spring rate though, which probably is not a big deal.

Teraflex 1.5 kit seems to work fine without shock extensions. Might need to get bump stop extensions though.

Have you had a chance to install the Mojave coils?

Any chance you’ve located the front shock part numbers? (Though if they are $1000 each like the rears it’s probably moot..)

Did you order the springs from Mopar? Where did you get them? I just posted a different thread (about shocks) but would love to get ahold of Mojave springs.

Bringing this tread back to see the light of day. Removing my Rubi springs tomorrow for Mojave springs. Currently have the Mojave shocks so this should be a nice match. I will post pictures and ride height differences.

coils are the same length.

JL JT Rub Mojave.jpg
Interesting photo.

Why would JL coils be longer than JT coils?

The diesel coil looks just a tad longer, but the wire appears to be the same diameter so the spring rate probably isn't much higher which is odd.

If Mojave coils are same length as Rubicon coils, then the Mojave coils must have a higher spring rate, which would be the opposite that we'd expect, right?

Lots of questions here....

I have done this swap.. Springs and shocks both.. The rear shocks are a direct swap. The front you will have to make your own sleeve for the bushings since the bolts on the Mojave are bigger.. Noticed a 1" height in front and a much better ride.. The springs are the same length but the rates are different..
I was told the reservoir wouldn't fit in the Rubi because the disconnect assy was in the way.. Not the case.. Bolted right up!
Hope this helps anyone who's thinking of doing the same..

I didnt gain any front height. Nearly identical to my rubi springs.
Update: 1/4” gain on the front after moving the jeep. I was expecting .5” or more. Oh well, im going to add my extra .5” spacer this afternoon. No biggie to do it
