Mojave orange mods

Had some orange wrap left over from the topo pattern tailgate blackout project, so put it to use on the covers for the PIAA 510 fog lights.

And since these lights are primarily used for driving in snow storms, thought it was only appropriate to put some abominable (Bumble) snowmen on them just for laughs.

Well spring has finally arrived, & decided it was time for the "Bumble" snowmen to go into hibernation until next winter.
Since I had an extra set of light covers, decided to change things up for this year's canoe adventures.

Had a local powder coater do them for me. He charged $40 per ring. Holding up great.

Apologies to all for continuing the thread jack, but Springsteen has raised many millions for veterans over the years, and very much supports us. “Born in the USA” was written specifically because he felt veterans were being mistreated.

What’s disrespectful about the album cover? If you think he’s pissing on the flag, he’s stated time and time again that’s not what’s going on. It was simply the best looking picture they took and they didn’t realize people would interpret it that way.

These worked out pretty good.

Swapped out the black tow hooks for Mojave Orange tow hooks. A small detail that makes the front bumper really POP!!!

I couldn't find orange stem caps with "Jeep" on them, just red. I bought these:

I did the same thing with the valve stem caps. (Like the look)

If those are the aluminum ones, you might want to put some anti-seize lubricant on the threads. The dissimilar metals will start to seize. Luckily I checked my tire pressure before it was too late and was just barely able to get my caps off."

Sorry, I have no idea. Just found them on Amazon while surfing.
Product Update....After one winter, they were destroyed. Color had faded and were difficult to remove as the aluminum galvanized to the valve stem.

yeah, that's the danger in a little part that is anodized and possibly poor quality metal isn't it? Maybe black isn't so bad after all

Most Mojave owners love their orange accents and look for other items to add to their rigs. Thought I would create a thread where we can put items we've found.
Enjoy.

Here's a Before/After example of where the stock black Gladiator fender vinyl just doesn't cut it. (IMO) Especially on a dark paint.

I forgot to ad some vital info. I sourced these from a vendor on FB called Sity Stickers. Mike did a great job.
Also, I've included a pict of the same decal on Hydro paint.
