Mojave vs Scout

My 2023 Aliner Scout weighs in at about 1700 lbs fully loaded for a trip. I'm not going to say it feels like it's not even back there, because it does. I used to pull a 4000 lb Winnebago Micro Mini 2106DS and even though it was with my 2020 JTR on 35" tires, it struggled. My JTM is on 37" tires and rated lower than the Rubicon so I do wonder how much worse it would have been with the Mini.

I'm a State Park camper and use the facilities at the park, even when I had a full wet bath camper. The Scout has a sink and fridge. It's just me and the dog as the wife gave up camping a while back. 20 plus years in the Army and numerous "field training exercises" and I still somewhat enjoy it. Albeit tent camping has passed me up. Living in Florida I need a/c and a nice comfortable bed is a huge plus.

You shouldn't even worry it's back there. I tow a 27' Vantage Sonic SN220VRB that is around 5,100 lbs with all we want or need with my Overland which is stone stock.

Just me and the Bride. it handles it just fine. even when the temps outside got close to 100F, engine and trans temps were just fine.

I've towed a similar size and weight camper with my '05 LJ round trip Texas to Moab, your Gladiator should have absolutely no issues hauling yours.

Been towing this around for a couple of years furthest I've towed it was to Central Florida (for JWJ), 2020 JT, 37 x 12.5 x 17 with 5.13's. Total weight for everything was 12,520#'s averaged 11.5 MPG doing 70 - 75MPH. This 8 speed tranny is a dream!!!

Hey - I just saw Tri-Lake Products on the map. I couldn't zoom in enough to see if I was laying down in the parking lot working on my Jeep.
