Looking for some real world opinions please.

Considering the Mopar 2” suspension kit and 35’s at some point.

Wanted to see how people felt the ride changed from a stock Rubi to the Mopar kit. Only looking at the Mopar kit as of now.

Honesty, I really like the ride this thing provides. Better than my JK (stock or not) and my 3rd gen Taco (stock or not). I do not want to change this aspect about the JT.

So, anybody have the 2” kit and still riding on stock Falkens? Or at least did for a couple days to gauge how the JT characteristics changed? I understand larger tires will also make changes, but wanted to focus solely on the kit. I have no idea what stock spring rates are, or the ones that come with the 2” kit.

Thank you!

Hi. Drove my PUNK’N Rubicon with the Mopar 2” Lift Kit for a week on stock 33’s from Falken. The ride change was negligible. I then put on a set of 315x70x17’s from Falken as well. The ride actually got slightly more stable. Most noticeably was a slightly more stable lateral movement. I’d rate the ride just ever so better than the stock Rubicon. Hope this helps. P.S. the actual tire size is 34.6” vs the 35’s which is 34.8”. Also the 315x70x17 is 12.7” wide vs the 35’s which is 12.5”.

So I’ve had the lift for 2 months on stock 33s and also 37s. It rides better then stock because it eliminates the bouncing in the rear from the stock suspension that would drive me nuts. Here’s my recommendations and things I did to improve the lift. I would definitely install it with at least 3/4” to 1.5” front spacers, I used 1” after 1 week of the annoying rake it left in the truck, next the new control arms don’t give it enough caster so I added rancho geometry correction brackets and used the second hole with the new control arms and it made a big difference on handling and ride quality. I did this more as an experience while waiting for my RK Pro X lift. Overall I was very happy with the most lift especially after the added parts and the shocks it comes with are great and will save your driveshafts it you decide to wheel it by limiting your down travel. Hope this helps you.
