Yeah, I don’t really care if they can or can’t. I haven’t seen them do anything radical so I’m good.
I don’t go shopping there for political reasons. I go to save money. Their gas and some other things are cheaper and of high quality.

( But a dash mount alternative would be better......some of us don't want something so far away or way up there)


OTOH I may have found a ball mount that works on the MOPAR rail (which we want) will test and post results later.




When we post about dash mounts, I don't understand the "use a ceiling mount instead". No we want a dash mount and are trying to find accessories to work with our preferred method.
I don't want my plow control, phone or tablet above my head in the way.

Come on SP, do you really care if it’s “off topic?” I like the dudes overhead mount and am glad he posted it.

It reminds me of the FB pages:

"I'm putting a 4.0 in my Eagle - anyone have the wiring diagram"?
Response - "you really should put a Mercedes diesel in it - here's the wiring diagrams for it".

"I'm trying to find the correct alternator for my 19xx car as I'm restoring it for show"
Response "do what I did and put a GM 1 wire on it" (problem is - GM never made any such thing, and, there's a few reasons to not use those knock-offs)

That's the internet - look for A and you get all sorts of "you should do C instead" but C doesn't fit the needs of the people asking about A.

I guess it's time to start a clean thread where I can look for sources for the attachments for the MOPAR dash rail. I don't want stuff up overhead or have any sort of need for anything other than a dash mount.

I have the RAM mount. I like it but rarely use it. I don't like anything obstructing my vision. I just ordered the apex Crow overhead molle panel. It'll hold my campers rear view camera monitor.

I just ordered the CROW as well, hoping to install this weekend. Any pics of yours?

Anybody have this mount? The description is vague and pictures are limited. Is it a picatinny style rail? Which after market bases does it accept?
