Mopar Hoop... Can it be installed rear facing?

Wondering if anyone has tried installing the Mopar hoop rear facing on the OEM steel bumper. pics would be greatly appreciated. I want a backwards leaning hoop and hoping not to have to spend $350 for the Maximus 3 classic if i can find another alternative.

What hoop are you referring to. The winch guard (aka grille guard)?

The mounting holes in the bumper allow it, but there will be an overhang in the winch cutout. If you aren't going to run a winch, I don't think it would be a problem. It will interfere with a top mount control box though.

damn.... looks a lot better facing this way but I don't think it'll fit of the top of my winch. didn't really think about the clearance issues there.

Yeah, it MIGHT work, if you were close I'd let you give it a shot. If you can remote mount the control box somewhere, I think it'll work.
