I'm in the area of Winter Haven and I also see a large amount of Gladiators cruising around!

So I'm down on the FL Panhandle and I'm seeing more Gladiators here than I've ever seen
to the point I'd say is equal to Unlimiteds.
There are also a lot of Gladiators here in South Florida/Keys, especially Rubis and Mojaves. They simply overbuilt them at a high price and with all of the incentives, it makes sense to purchase one (2024) and get the 20-25k off MSRP as many have done (me included). I see a local dealer (Miami Lakes) that still has about 70 on the lot and several are Rubis X and Mojaves X. I almost bought a white Rubi X from them but it ended about 7k more than a regular Rubi at another dealer that had exactly what I wanted on it (MSRP 66k) and I got out the door at less than 45k. The power leather seats on the X didn't mean that much to me nor did the full time 4x4.

I live in Deland now. I was on the coast till last year. Florida loves the JT. We don't care as much about break over angle when our off roading is all sand mud and swamp. I would say JT was more often seen on the coast than inland. But offroading in the Forrest or swap I see more JT than 2 door wranglers.

There are 4 within .5 miles in my neighborhood here in Palm Bay.
It seems strange to me here in Florida (and warm-weather climates in general) that there are so many people that want dark colored vehicles, Jeeps included. When I was searching for a Rubi in Dec and Jan, it seemed that every dealer that had any inventory had a disproportionate number in black. And then, there were granite and other dark colors. I found both a blue and a yellow Rubi X in Cape Coral FL but they were sold fairly soon after the 20% off MSRP thing was offered. I ended up with white.

I know it's a personal thing, but if anyone wants a dark color, it's even more of a buyers market.

That's one reason I immediately took off the rock rails and added the Mopar side steps to mine. The largest rocks I may accidently drive over here in South Florida/Keys is something that someone bought for their garden at Home Depot.

Mr Miami. I agree. I got a black JTM on sale. It was the last one. Not my preferred color for florida but it was a compromise I was willing to make. If I commuted and/or parked outside a lot I would not have done it. Because black absolutely bakes here

I think another reason why there are a lot of white JT's out there is the price. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe white is the only standard color that that is part of the initial price and is not an extra cost option.

Ya I wanted a bright red/blue or maybe a white with some type of mojave tri-color partial wrap up the back but the best prices seem to be on the blacks that are left. Black was my least favorite but now I'm thinking it would be the best to put a wrap on. Even the clear matte wraps look good, or I could put on punkin and not worry about the inside color.

During the months of online shopping leading up to buying mine, it seemed like I never saw one IRL around here. Very rare and I was looking. Most ended up just being Wrangler variants. Then after buying it, I only saw two in the first week. Now, they are seeming to pop up daily on my commute.

My Gladiator was pretty rare when we lived in the SF Bay area of California; now we're living in Middle Tennessee and Gladiators are a dime a dozen here...

I see a lot more Gladiators around Jacksonville, FL now than I did a couple of years. ago. Nice to see.
