My wife's daily is a stock JLUR that will never have lights or any other aux stuff added to it (as long as it's her daily), but came with the aux switches installed. I have a JTR with a whole bunch of lights on it and does not have the stock aux switches. I hate the contoller that is currently installed and would prefer to have the stock aux switches. So I feel like I should be able to remove the aux switches from her JLUR and install it in my JTR. If you've done this and have some insight I'd appreciate it.

Even installing the MOPAR Aux Switch kit can be a bit of a pisser. Could not imagine trying to decontent and move over a factory installed Aux Switch installation.

One difference between the MOPAR Aux Switch Kit and a vehicle that came factory with the option is that the factory option one will have a set inside/outside lead taps where as the kit is only outside lead taps

DO NOT ATTEMPT IT. The dealer had a hard time installing mine. Very involved wiring. Buy the kit and have dealer install. Part of the dash panel by the radio has to come out. That way you’ll have a guarantee. Was about 350.00 for the kit and 300.00 labor for me.

And look at the poor fellows who tried to fish that wire through the firewall only to poke into existing wires and frying things or causing an avalanche of errors.

I need to find my inside ACC lead so I can power the snow plow control from it. I never did find the inside wires for my 2022 - after 2 years of owning it, could never locate those inside aux switch wires and I had a lot apart on that thing over that time.
Hope I can find them more easily on this one.

You could just buy the Lasfit aux switches. You can install yourself, they look factory, and they have their own fuse box so no need to deal with the PCM.

Lasfit. Much much easier and looks factory. I've done 2 and it works well.
