For what it’s worth (not much) my salesperson said speaking about Gator “They delayed orders until possibly the end of the month.”
Hmm! We’ see....

I hope the website is wrong. This is very frustrating. Why would they push the most important color so far back? I find it odd though that both Gobi and Gator were recently seen on the line. We need more spies on the inside.

Most important color is subjective. I'm sure Jeep has projections on the # that will sell of each color (based on Wrangler & other vehicle histories), and prioritize the build order based on those numbers.

I've heard of Gobi and Hydro Blue test mules going down the line, but not Gator.

Remember, they made a Granite LE test vehicle around Memorial Day, but didn't start building them until the last few weeks (3+ months later). With Punk'N, it was a bit shorter. So even once you see the test mules, it still could be several months before they actually start building them.

I know. I'm just biased.
The first Gobi was spotted with the second hydro blue 2 weeks ago, and the gator was spotted with the second gobi last week. GCM aside, the PunkN and Hydro Blue were released with in a couple of weeks of the test mules.

I've seen the sneak shots of the Gobi and Blue (possibly test mules), but i haven't seen the sneaks of Gator just yet. Anyone else? I came across a thread that mentions Gobi paint had complications needed to be assessed, which could be a reason why all others have been delayed.

There wasnt a photo for the second gobi or first gator, just an employee in the line saying they went through.
On the gobi thread some one said they just got an order in this morning, but it's only open for soft tops.
Hopefully the website is just being pessimistic and gobi will oo6en today, followed by gator in the next couple weeks.
I can dream

Might be able to wait a couple more weeks. Trouble is I have an FCA CDI discount code that has to be used by the end of 2019- and I think I use the code at delivery not at order. Hopefully I don’t have to fall back on Sting Gray.

My dealer just said it was open for black hard top and dual top. I'm in the process of ordering now with black 3 piece hard top. I'll let y'all know if it goes through.
