Many of us have been told this by trusted sources, like experienced Jeep shops. I personally have not yet seen my tubes, as my axles haven’t been disassembled. I will though likely in January, as I’m regearing and upgrading the front shafts. You keep asking people for proof. Do you have proof that rubicon axle housings are not heavier duty? You’re quick to state this as a fact, but you have not provided evidence of your opinion.

All that said, "Must haves" on 2022:
Tow or max tow pending your needs
Aux switches
Cold Weather N of the mason dixy line
LED and or upgrade asap (the stock lights are horrid).

Rest is all subjective.

This thread is getting to be so typical of this forum.
People responding to a question by the OP from months ago (Sept.)
He has probably already ordered. ?
Then bitching and arguing about stupid opinions on what they think is right or best.
Pandemic fatigue is rearing it’s ugly head on this and many more public forums and social media.
We can/should do better than this, it’s not as if we are Bronco owners.

For me:
Towing package with the Rubicon and Mojave, even if you don't tow.

Or

Max Tow for the other trims able to get it, even if you don't tow. Huge upgrade!

Aux switches.

Alpine Stereo.

Cold Weather if you think you want it.

Black 3 piece hardtop. (I have the premium soft top but wish I got the hardtop)

What I wouldn't get:
Steel bumpers are too expensive and I preferred the look of aftermarket options instead. I have the Rugged Ridge HD bumpers.

LED lightning is too expensive. I see posts here of people raving about them, but this forum is also full of posts of people hating on them. I'd rather go aftermarket.

Full-time 4x4 (I’m spoiled by AWD—drove a part-time 4Runner in the snow last week and it’s just not ideal)
Blind spot alert active safety group—parking alerts serve well for a truck this big
Gorilla glass
Front camera-hey it comes with a washer, seems like a bargain
Automatic for the tow rating and gas mileage

Automatic gas mileage is pretty much the same. One worse highway, one better city. Overall the same. The results people post here seem to be consistent between both too. But you can't get the full-time 4wd or the tow rating with manual, so you have to get an automatic for that.
16/23 mt vs 17/22 at (vs 22/28 diesel).
