I have to admit, I'm pretty pleased. My first check at 63k miles on my 21 mojave. Everything is within spec.

The only thing I can mention that I do is I generally change the oil between %15 and %25 life left. Mostly because I change my own and that where the timing works best. I do use mopar filters, and 0w20 valvoline or mobile.

Curious about the flash point in Fahrenheit. You are 380 and it wants 385 or higher.

Probably from me having some higher amount of fuel in my oil. My daily drive is only 8 miles each way, but I pull a 600 mile trip every other month.

An oil's flash point is the lowest temperature at which the oil's vapor will ignite when exposed to a source of ignition. It's an indication of how safe a lubricant is in terms of fire and explosion. Different types of oil have different flash points, such as:
  • Gasoline: Around 380°F
  • Diesel: Around 410°F
  • Mineral oils: Typically 225°C or 440°F
  • Paraffin-based oils: Between 200 and 280°C
  • Naphthene-based oils: 235°C and lower
  • Passenger car engine oils: 200°C to 270°C
  • Industrial oils: Can reach flash points above 300°C

That proves it. The engine does not need and oil catch can.
