I ordered my 22 High Altitude ecodiesel from Gupton on 10/25. Haven't received any follow up info (VIN/VON) but when I asked about the production start date, Renee at Gupton said production should start mid December. Hopefully it will be sooner though!

Yes, and I'm 2 hours from the plant so fingers crossed! And my dealer sits on the main highway between Toledo and everything south of Ohio, so most likely a truck. ?

MY22 ordered 10/28 through Gupton. I have my VIN, but per Jeep Chat on Saturday they're still gathering parts. I have not hit up Gupton for an update, and I understand dealership updates may be more accurate than Jeep Chat.

My build is as follows:

Mojave
Sarge Green
6-speed manual
Premium soft top
Body colored fenders
Gorilla glass
Steel gray leather
LED lighting group
Cold weather group
Auxiliary switches
Slush mats
Soft top window storage bag
Bluetooth speaker

I know in the past that there were delays on build completions because of the manual transmission, slush mats, and bedliner. This is outside of the obvious reasons that more steps take more time, and I believe the manual transmission delay was due to a halt on production for a recall, the slush mats suffered from production shortages, and the bed liner delays were for reasons I don't know.

So if any of these are still causing delays, especially the slush mats and manual transmission that are in my build, some of our production dates might not align with the timeline of order placed against someone else.

Basically, the point of my novel is that it could be completely random. May the odds be ever in your favor!

Agreed! Just trying to get a baseline... I would be pissed if slush mats caused a delay: send those to me in the mail later, don't stop my build!! ?‍

Ha, right? I thought about skipping those and just buying the generic ones off Amazon but they're almost the same price and I take a little more comfort in getting the official ones.

I don't need my Jeep until the end of February as well, so I can afford a delay for whatever reason. (Doesn't mean I don't want my Jeep yesterday though)

Rubicon diesel with every option but advanced cruise, painted top and leather.

I skipped the slush mats. It annoys me that you pay them $160 and they then take your carpet mats. Ha. So I'll just buy some WeatherTechs. I like how the 1 piece rear mat fits better anyway. I also like to use carpet mats in the summer when I usually take my sandals off and drive barefoot.

But here's my Mojave configuration.

I ordered a 22 Rubi 3.6l auto on 10/29 through Kent at Peterson. I received my VON the next day. Today they took my deposit out of my account. Still no VIN yet

The dealer gives it to you, Its typically on the build sheet they email you called the (Priced Order Confirmation (POC))

What 22ecoD said..I was emailed by my dealer the day after I ordered. He sent me the order sheet with the VON on it.

VON is blank on my build sheet...But I signed off on the Build sheet before he placed the Order...

He placed the order just 2 days ago on Saturday so if it is instataneous he should have the VON by now...

I just e-mailed the Salseman and asked for it.
