Sounds like we got two things to discuss in the future 😉
I can’t wait. Toured a bunch of houses today. Anything without an 8’ garage door and very high garage ceiling is off the list.

yours looks great!

just for your information here there are some significant differences between our jeeps.

Thats a gen 1 RK 3 link which has different mounts at all 3 points on the frame and axle side up front which is why your arms are bent and the ark of travel takes an elliptical path which is easier for your eyes to detect looking at how the passenger rear doesn’t follow the frame but both ends are behaving similarly.

the rear isnt similar at all however because this kit has true horizontal and vertical triangulation keeping the axle pivoting left to right and the pinion pointed at the transfer case when the axle is moving through the complete range of motion vs the rear tracbar in yours inducing the yaw I addressed in paragraph 1. The side bonuses being no torque squat no changes to the instant center under panic stop, emergency lane changes or expansion joints.

on the mpg front the reason im seeing more mpg is because the overall weight, total height (2”) , tune and rotating mass is lower. Depending on what you keep in your bed and how much that rear bumper weighs, by rough estimate your jeep weighs ~ 450 lbs more than mine when accounting for the shocks, lightweight brakes, aluminum steering, suspension and armor, the exhaust plus the additional 88lbs of rotating mass.

as far as brake push through thats tbd but I have changed the valving in the brake booster and I have short travel 6 piston calipers which more clamping force than typical 1 ton chevy style brakes. Its almost too much on the road it will take some getting used to.

id love to catch a trail with you soon any plans to come out west?

Also I was using voice text at a red light so if any of that reads weird let me know
Thanks, I don't have any plans at the moment. Just bought a new house and this was my daily driver but I just picked up another vehicle to drive so I can start doing some other things to the JT and also not worrying about pushing it a little harder on the trails. I am planning a trip to do the Rubicon Trail some time next year.

MPG for anyone following along was 19.68 gps miles / fill doing 75-85 with 3 decent grades but also losing ~ 900ft of altitude overall. Maybe 30% of the trip had a strong headwind / crosswind and the jeep was not moved in the lane at all.

its not really safe to take pics while driving but its crazy to see the shocks change in real time to keep the jeep flat. This jeep rides like a less floaty mojave, if you can get your brain to ignore the 42” tires part.

SDI shocks changed my Jeep into a completely new vehicle. It just stays where it is. I can take 60mph corners at 80 with virtually no body roll. It’s nuts. Glad it’s working just as well for you.

its flat out obscene how much the suspension droops and still the system stays balanced. . So far the jeep has climbed everything like a spider and is stable across the desert at least up to ca freeway speeds in some preliminary desert testing. Working on some minor tweaks after some repeated jumps.
