Well, here we are over a year later and any new thoughts on tail lights? I keep reading the Oracles have no longevity. Thoughts?

My Oracle taillights were in the original batch too and after 4yrs, I had one issue in ‘23 and they replaced it within a week. I’m happy with mine

I have been on the buying fence for Oracle tails for about 6 months. Keep hearing about longevity issues. Followed a Glady into downtown today and the right rear tail (Oracle) was flickering and doing some wacky crap when the brakes were applied. Yeah, I'm out on this one.

My thoughts are people need to demand better from Oracle and hold them accountable, but instead their customer service has basically made people ok with cheaply built crap. Oracle keeps saying it was just one batch of lights that were bad and they've fixed the issue, but it's been years since and they still fail. Brand new lights after just a couple months still fail. Replacement lights still fail. Yes, they have great customer service and will replace them without any hassle, but as a customer I shouldn't have to replace a light every 6 months, I should get a good fault free product from the start.

Everyone praises them because of customer service, but good customer service should not mask a bad product. Fix.your.product.

My JTR has had the Oracle Oculus headlights and the Oracle flush tail lights.
I installed the Headlights in 2021 and they are fantastic.
The 1st set of tail lights I installed in 2022 where from a batch made in 2022 and a couple of the LEDs failed within the first year.
I reported it to Oracle (with pics of the tail lights showing the batch date on them and my purchase receipt).
They sent me a new set right away. The new set has been great for the past 2+ years.

This is why if I ever get any LED tail lights for the truck, they will be easily replaceable standard DOT truck lights in a flush mount housing. Probably the Combat Offroad lights, unless someone comes up with something better.
