Picked her up today. 21’ Sport S EcoD. After much back and forth on trading in my 20’ 3.6 Sport S and getting $6k over what I paid for it 12 months and 27,000kms later, hell, I pulled the trigger. So not much is new here, Sport S, hardtop, tech package, hardtop, alpine, tow package, spray in liner and convenience package. The dealer threw in Willys wheels/tires and I got brand new rubicon shocks for dirt cheap ($100). Kept my steel rubicon bumper, led headlights/bumper lights, warn winch and tonneau. Just might add a .75” up front to compensate for the winch/bumper combo. Name of the game is mpg and towing with this build. Next year I might ditch the Firestones for K02s or Generals.
First impressions: power! Yes this is what I should of bought last year! That torque is a welcoming addition to the Jeep platform.
and mpg! Yeeeehaw! I saw 28mpg from the dealer to the town closest to mine. It leveled out to just over 25mpg after arriving to my house. Thats a 2400ft climb. Tickled pink? My 3.6 on 35’s was at 17.5 as of this morning. Thats a huge in my book. The motor should improve as time goes on too.

Eh, Canada that 8.3 scared me in your picture. 😂

Anyways, congrats on the purchase. If you think you’re happy now, wait until you upsize your tires and the engine doesn’t notice.

Nice rig... and wow did you make out with the trade up!

I have a stock Overland diesel with 18" tires and Im getting 29mpg highway and 22 towing my 5k trailer. Took about 1500 miles to get to those numbers.

I love the way the big tires look but I don't do any real trail running so, for me, it would just be a waste. For towing it has turned out to be better than I expected - with a weight distribution hitch its solid at 65MPH.
Enjoy!!

After climbing 2400ft to my house and to work this morning, it settled to 9.2 (25.5mpg). Pretty happy and my work commute I swear didnt drop past 7th gear. Incredible little motor I must say.
