I bought my current Gladiator with 4k miles on it at Carmax. Had a Tazer installed (surprise) and a Console Vault (also a surprise, but took forever to get the 3 digit code from the PO)

Most of the time when I buy a used vehicle I have pretty good luck avoiding the DPO ( dumb previous owner) stuff. However Ive had a few doozies in my day. I purchased my Gladiator used and the portable BT radio was gone but oh well not a big deal. But then I actually found something that made my day! I noticed a valve stem in the bed of my truck mounted to the RH side wall. At first I thought air shocks but to my pleasant surprise its air springs. I was going to put these in my previous vehicle when towing my camper. Ive never had air springs before does anyone else here have them and if so, what is the recommended pressures or average pressures you use when towing?.

Also what other discoveries have you all found in your previous used purchases?
First of all never go over the tow and payload rating in the door jamb. Then wondering how much psi? That easy hook up to a trailer that’s not over both the above weight rating, then add air till it levels out. That’s it, unless the shocks can’t control the extra weight, then replace with Bilstein 5100’s, for the best overall control/ride and price.

As a used car dealer for 35 years you wouldn't believe the stuff we found in cars from auction or trades absolutely hilarious 😆

A friend of mine is a Deputy Sheriff, he bought a used Toyota pickup. The next week they were going to the range, and he gave his Lt a ride to the range. He hit a bump, and a bag of weed fell out on his Lt's foot.
