Slow day at work and cruising the interwebs and found this gem on a Nissan Frontier forum were a guy with the new Gen 3 Frontier Pro4X jumped a parking lot curb at 10 MPH and totaled his Frontier. Insurance totaled it because of frame and firewall damage. Surprised at the amount of damage for something as simple as a parking lot curb on their so called off road model.

Looking around at other threads over there on the new Gen 3 Frontier and it seems to be a total dumpster fire of quality issues.

I own a 2022 Pro4X and I’ve been happy with mine. Huge improvement over the previous generation. I’m not buying what they’re selling in that post. #FakeNews

I was a Nissan guy before my Jeep because I was poor and broke, not just broken like I am now.

The Frontier is built on a Titan frame and is by no means a crappy one. I had over 115k on the clock of my Xterra which was also built on the same platform and was mechanically equivalent to the Frontier. I sent her hard many times and not once did anything combust or come apart like this.

Shameless sending it plug with a heavy winch bumper video:

I had a Pro4X before my JT and they are good trucks. There are a lot of variables here that need to be taken into account.

I'm going to go with user error and definitely over 10mph lmao.
My Black Rhino wheel exploded the same way as the ones in those photos. Except I jumped off the highway median to a lower road and hit the guardrail going 75mph...

I don't think 10mph would do it ;)
