Theyre big in the 4runner world, they price themselves out of most peoples brackets and don't give quite enough detail to justify the price tag. For instance, JW Seaker and Diode Dynamics also have built in turns but I believe both are SAE compliant to act as your singular turn signal source, these make no mention of being approved or not. No Lux readings, etc.

I’m a big believer in keeping everything plain and stock. My JL is a 2 door Sport with a stick. I like to keep it simple. My only indulgence was Oracle Oculus Bi-LED switchbacks. I enjoy the DRL white halo and the complimentary amber turn signals. I’ve had these for 18 months with no issues. I paid $525 for them Black Friday 2021. They are probably $125-150 more now.

I think the AlphaRex Nova’s look cool; however, don’t compare to the Oracles. There are few specs and installtion details. I don’t think they are switchbacks, and they cost approx 40% more than the Oracles.

At the end of the day, it’s your $. If they float your boat like the Oracle switchbacks did for me, go for it.

At that price, buy the Diode Dynamics Elite Max Headlights. They are the best on the market.

I take back everything nice that I wrote. I went out for coffee and saw a Bronco with a center line amber switchback. I don't want my JL to look like another manufacturer's vehicle. If I wanted that, I would have bought one ;). With that said, if you like them, buy them.

i'll just stick with the standard Elites that i got on sale. $680 was a bitter enough pill to swallow

Im not really in the market, just throwing it out for people who are. The only way I am ever replacing my stock LED’s is if diode dynamics makes a heated version. IMO the Oracles don’t look great to me, they look like heated eyeballs haha. Plus Oracle’s reputation is eh.

Oracle's reputation is actually just fine... for headlights. They seem to have cracked the front end just fine, it's the rear where they come up short.

That being said, i wouldn't replace factory LEDs either. I ordered my truck with halogens planning to go the SEM LED route, but if i had bought off the lot and my truck had OEM LEDs they'd be staying put.

Good to know for future reference, thanks! They still look like eyeballs though! Haha. The factory LED’s are just fine really. I just hate having to pull over every 20 minutes or so during the winter to scoop out the Cascade Concrete (read wet snow that sticks to everything) out of my headlight buckets
