so called the bank and dealership the next day and signed the paperwork that afternoon, well after a bout a week the wrangler was nice and loved it an all but it wasn’t a gladiator, so the XR became my wife’s new baby and the search began it didn’t take long before finding what I was looking for, it wasn’t the color I was after but couldn’t pass it up at a dealership in the next town over so called the bank and dealership and went and looked at it and test drove it and signed the paperwork on it the next day and finally got my Mojave I was after with every option available in 21

Funny enough I got home to see the Mojave out and she has been driving it but should be getting the 35s on it today, love the look of the wheels so looking for a matching spare and just going to rock them for a while until the full build commences

Welcome to the forum.

So by full build, you are going to lift it, and be rid of the suspension that makes the Mojave the special thing that it is? The ride follows the suspension, not the name...

My wife was insistent that I not buy the Rubicon, because she hated the name... but if she had listened that all I needed to do to it was a lift and tires, instead of what I'm doing to get my Overland to the same prowess, we'd be much further ahead of the game. (although I have had the opportunity to put in what I wanted, not what Jeep put in...)

Hey hey hey… don’t knock the Overland model, there’s nothing about the Rubicon that the Overland needs to be just as enjoyable!

Welcome to the nut house OP, hope you get everything dialed in the way you want and keep us updated with the build 👍🏻

That is correct but the lift won’t begin until the factory suspension is wore out. I told my wife that the lift ain’t going on it until we get our monies worth out of that Mojave suspension

Welcome aboard the Mojave train. You do you, but as for me, I am loving the Mojave stock with 35's. Rides great, handles all the beach I can throw at it and no issues with the trails. Not a rock crawler but loads of fun.
I love the stock wheels that came on the Mojave and im gonna run those with the 35s and looking for a factory match so I have a matching spare. I don’t have enough rocks around here to build a rock crawler

Yeah it got me good but to see them both sitting in the driveway is worth it lol. oh we will definitely have fun with them we had so much fun with the original gladiator and regretted getting rid of it but think it was a step or two up

Thanks idlethunder, always wanted one since they came out
I went back and forth between it and Rubicon but ended up with the Rubi mostly for the slightly higher tow rating. After all the mods, I'm very happy with it but test driving both stock, the Mojave was the clear winner.
