just wtf?? after i just upgraded ro the save the eagles one w the ald eagle on it, the new regular plates are an abomination

Can you transfer the eagle one to another vehicle?

We have a huge influx here as well. I guess it's just getting to hard to live in Cali. All the transplants I talk to here just can't deal with the politics there anymore.

We finally recieved our new pre public release TN Jeep plates. I think it's cool our state has done this.

Only an hour away from TN and I Hadn't heard about this, so cool.

I will have to keep an eye out for these tags. I looked recently at the specialty tags and did not see these. I have the cheap for last year Tennessee blue tag which was like $5 for the year

Public release is I believe April, so not too much of a wait. You can upgrade your previous plate to the new one as well for a fee. I'm lucky I think my current tag expires in April, so I will be grabbing one of these then. I missed the pre-order by about 2 weeks.

They're not showing up as available yet since these are just the ones people pre ordered.

It took about three years for Florida to finally commit to getting the prison inmates to produce these. I didn't preorder, just went to the local DMV when I heard they came out and picked one up for the wife's JLU. Specialty plates are money makers and if some of the money goes to helping keep our trails open, I'll support.

Glad to see TN isn't the only one with a lengthy process. I have started the process in Virginia, waiting to get sponsorship from a legislator, then it really drags on. Hopefully spring 2025. At least the state admits to it taking two years.
