Hey guys,
I am trying to figure out a no start condition. I just got my truck back 6 months ago where they replaced both batteries and Z-fuse. It was working great until last night I noticed the remote start did not work but it fired right up when I pushed the button inside the truck.
Tonight I go to remote start, same thing (1 honk and no start, when I go to push the start button inside the truck I get a click and nothing happens, I try the button again and I get a "starter protection mode" making me wait 17 seconds before trying again.
After trying a few times with just a click and no start, I check the voltage it shows 12.2 on the screen but after a few tries it drops down to 12 even.
I'm a bit at a loss but wanted to check here to see if anyone else has had a similar issue. I have the truck on a trickle charger now and will keep it there overnight to see if it is a battery issue before having it towed to the dealer again.
For information: It is a '20 Overland 3.6, auto, batteries/z-fuse replaced 9K/6MO ago. Total mileage 57K
