We wave, depending on who's driving...me or my wife, me more than her as she doesn't always notice a Wrangler or Gladiator. Getting one back, it's about 50:50. half the time everyone's too busy texting or something ? ? ? ?

I have about an 80% wave back percentage. Of women, though, I think I've had one woman wave, it took me by surprise and she didn't see my return wave.

Is it because "gladiator" or is it not a thing anymore?
I've waved at a ton of people and they just /ignore.
Even the lifted guys.
What gives?
I wave but hardly look...I dont want to be disappointed

Depends on where you live too. Down here in SC people still wave for the most part. Minus all the people from the NE invading our state.....Can always spot them with the front plate holders....

I imagine this is pretty common for most male Jeep drivers and so they don't wave at females. I laugh though, cause anytime my wife drives whatever Jeep we have at the time her day is either made because someone waved at her or shot because so many didn't lol

I’m in a 2dr JK Dozer (Orange) in Tennessee with Vols license plate and tire cover. I can’t pull out of the subdivision without having to wave. My wife lets me know anytime I miss a wave; and if my 31 year old daughter is in the passenger seat she waves before I can. You’d think she was 3. We’ll see how it goes once I get my Gobi Gladiator. Someone is always honking or texting that they just saw me. Hoping to be a little more inconspicuous in the Glady. It’s too much pressure driving the JK and worrying about missing a wave and insulting someone. It’s like being Norm on Cheers.

Everyone in Denver has a jeep and waving at soccer moms gets old. If I see a cool jeep that I like, I'll acknowledge, but everyone else seems like a chore. In general, if you have a sweet build, Jeep, Toyota, LR, whatever, I'll give the ol' wave as recognition for the work put it.
My how it’s changed…….back in the 70’s, before Texans invaded Colorado, there weren’t many jeeps, and everyone waved at each other…….and automatically helped when in the backcountry. But that was also before the NFS shut down trails…….but that was also when we jeepers helped to MAINTAIN trails…..back then it was the jacked up f250s that screwed up the backcountry

Which would you rather have, the Texans in the 70's or the Kalifornians in the 2010's?

Ha ha……you had to be in CO in the 70’s to grasp the attitude about Texans…….but they were fun to winch out of the drifts……….as far as commifornia, .that’s why I left commifornia and moved to NW Arkansas

I don't really care if anyone waves or not.
Sometimes people just aren't looking or may
be doing something else at the time that you
meet them.
I have noticed though that the one that I assume
may not wave ends up being the one that
does.
