I purchased a NOCO Genius 10, installed a lugged harness to the battery posts and having been using it like this for the past 2 weeks.
I don't drive much anymore so obviously battery health can be a concern.

The Issue I'm experiencing is when the charger is connected to the Mojave, the LED indicators go thru there progression within a matter of minutes, and the green LED pulses for days with all the other LED's still lit. My understanding is that once the bulk charging is complete the NOCO will switch to MAINTENANCE mode which only the GREEN LED illuminated, and trickle charge if necessary.

One charge cycle I decided to unplug and and plug right back in again all LEDs went thru normal progression and immediately went to the single green LED indicating Maintenance mode like would expect.
I really don't like the charger putting out 13.5 volts on my battery for days never going to a trickle charge. But is it doing harm too the Batteries?

When I remove the charger and measure battery volts I see 12.75-12.77, which to me indicates a charged battery.

Wonder why I can induce the NOCO Genius 10 to go into trickle charge but when left alone for 3 days its still in the charging mode?

This image above shows the voltage with the Genius 10 still charging after 34 hours. With all LEDs illuminated. The radio has a feature to display battery volts.

There is two batteries in parallel, main and the aux. NOCO recommends one lead on the positive of one battery and the negative lead on the second battery in parallel.

Possible with the mismatch AH capacity of the two batteries is messing with the sense circuit of the charging being all on one battery.

I think it would also be good measure to have each battery individually load tested and within spec.

Charge the batteries independently - unless just doing maintenance mode.

Like already said - best to have each fully charged, and checked for condition.

For lead acid batteries 14.2V is a typical charge voltage and 13.8V is a float or maintenance charge. 13.5V would be on the low end of a float charge. After the residual voltage is drained off of a lead acid battery after charging 12.6V is considered fully charged. Sounds like the NOCO Genius 10 is working.

12.6 is voltage of non-AGM batteries. 12.7-12.8 (some just little bit higher) is normal full charge for AGM.

Yes, they maintain or float at those levels.

This is from one battery maker - it's on the high side. ours are more like 12.7-12.8 at 100% SoC

This is from a major battery charger maker -

All the info and opinions appreciated. Looks like maybe another day or 12 hours and the charger could have been in the maintenence mode, or float charging. Gotta remember truck has 2 batteries and is not exactly completely off.
