Well that’s what I kinda figured, didn’t think there was that much too them. My thought was they were designed/installed for the person who doesn’t lift their jeep. My mind tells me it’ll look better with all the flares at the same time. You lose an inch of fender to tire clearance. That’s it. No rubbing no scrubbing, just an inch of clearance. Rubicon fenders aren’t some magical thing, they’re just pieces of plastic that sit higher than sport model pieces of plastic.
Probably be easier to get some aftermarket inner fenders for cheap. I think you can get fronts only for like 100 bucks.See I think that looks much better.
I’m gonna need the liners too, right?
I agree with @Camaroboi13. If you're gonna make the swap, find some aftermarket inners you like. They should be compatible with both styles of fender, if you ever decide to switch back.See I think that looks much better.

If you were closer I’d be down! Helluva trip for either one of us though hahaFor the record, I have a pearl white Willy's JT, and Id be happy to trade fenders with the OP. I volunteer as tribute
I've been keeping an eye on craigslist and such looking for a set of rubi takeoffs but it's pretty rare and they usually want like $4000 or something ridiculous like that
