It locks the compressor on so in humid areas, like Iowa, it would freeze the evaporator over.I like the “Desert Only” setting
In the desert, it was max cooling.
I've worked on a lot of those systems, but never had occasion to use that setting other than when recharging to keep the compressor running.
Yeah, MOPARs and others, like Javelin or American or Classic with vacuum wipers because there was no electricity to the switch, just a control cable.1970 Plymouth Duster and Dodge Demon.
If you need the foot pump, I can probably get you one cheap and I have been helping people convert their classics over to electric wipers.
