Someone mentioned the history of IPAs. It's ironic that modern IPAs need to be (should be) consumed ASAP. I check the cans now for the date. If it's older than 3 months I pass.

I never got too much into the Doppelbocks.

Funny story. Young, naive and not a big drinker when I first got to Germany. My brother calls me and asks how I am doing. I said, "Great! I love German beers, drinking a Heineken right now." Then he informed me that Heineken isn't German.

It’s an easy mistake to make! It’s like ordering a Carlsberg and thinking it’s a great European beer, until you realize it’s just Danish Budweiser!

my 2020 JT will be the last jeep i ever own also, it's going nowhere, it's freakin amaze balls, i'll just fix when it needs, put a new motor when it needs, thanks fca for this manual transmission solid front axle unicorn dream machine

Since it's almost October, anybody like Marzen? I just love sampling them this time of year, both imports from Germany and ones made here in USA. A local brewery called Mica Town in Marion NC makes one called Marion Marzen, and honestly it's one of my favorite ever.
