There are threads in the Uconnect section. 8.4 transplants don't work all that well, not like a factory install. The off road pages are coded to the VIN, and the head unit checks in with the mothership for authorization before it will allow them to show on screen.

Nothing works, travel link, etc. just radio and xm
I know with Jscan, you can enable the off road pages and after a deep sleep reboot, they will show up with a caveat. If your vehicle never came with the 8.4 radio originally and had off road pages to begin with, the pages that show up after being unlocked will be limited in that the instrument gauge cluster page will not show readings on all the gauges and also the GPS LAT/LONG will be intermittent at best. I went through this when I installed a 8.4 radio on my 2021 Willys

Like @Mr._Bill mentioned, there is some tie in to the vin and the radio that if yours did not originally come equip with the 8.4, it is a mixed bag to get full functionality of the off road pages.

I think part of the issue is the 8.4 radio has a cellular aspect to it and the radio occasionally is looking for a cell signal and hookup to the Uconnect service and either through not getting a cell signal or if you do get one, Uconnect service does not recognize your radio/vin combination as a factory installed item and denies full functionality of the off road pages and other services on the 8.4 radio.

There is a couple posts elsewhere around here where a few people mention a work around for the instrument gauge cluster page and leaving the Security Gateway Module" disconnected and the program dongle and bypass cable they used to enable the Off Road Pages left hooked up and the all the gauges would show.

I was able to make them work with the tazer. Only thing I have is the sos and assist buttons are lit up.

I know the 8.4 looks for a 4G signal. I've seen the 4G icon on the upper left corner at times.

You need to "Activate" the Offroad pages using a Tazer, JScan etc.. On the Tazer its in the Radio submenu.
Yeah got it working as previously stated. Just have the 2 lights on the overhead for sos and assist.

Sorry about that ... I swapped a new 8.4" into my Sport ... I don't have those two lights on .. wonder if its because my unit never had those two features activated.
