Possibly some good news - response from Baxter

"We are developing a remote adapter for the 3.0 Ecodiesel, please sign up for our newsletter from our homepage to stay informed about new and current product offerings."

If they put out an adapter we only have the challenge of where to put the cooler and remote filter. There is room down below to mount a small cooler with fans and a remote filter. Would have to create skid plate to protect it all, but it could work.
The adapter is the easy part. Where to mount a cooler is the real question. I wonder if we could get someone to make us a bumper like this for the oil cooler?

That could work, but many of us have winches up there so no room. Right now I don't think there are any adapters other than insane diesel and that is a more complicated set up with return via the top cap. Also wouldn't need to change anything other than the filter housing - not like the other delete plates you have to use.

There is room driver side to mount the cooler and filter. Its not a lot. Using a fan powered one should be more reliable than air flow under the truck which there won't be any if crawling. One of these guys and a remote filter plus maybe the thermostat that @Rusty PW posted.

If you add a remote filter in your cooling circuit you would likely reduce flow and thus cooling ability. I do like the placement, it would fit great there. I'm considering splicing in a cooler somewhere in line before or after the radiator. Will likely use the pictured derale cooler on a 12v thermostat switch.

Not my area expertise for sure. If the Baxter one would remove the OE filter and just have an adapter would it be ok to have an inline filter? Insane Diesel and Amsoil have the Bypass filters, but I don't think you would want that as your only filter in line. The other parallel thread with the insane diesel install is seeing low temps with an inline cooler. Keeping the flow up would be critical on any mod to the system.
