Very cool post. I am always thrilled to meet a Jeep owner with a new rig and strong ties to the old heritage.

The orange TJ was my daily driver of eight years until my '21 Gladiator (Willys, Ecodiesel), came home the first of this year. The TJ is stretched 15" rides on 37" tires. It's now relegated to trail Jeep duties.

The blue CJ is a '75 CJ6, all stock, all manual everything! It's my wife's rig and we enjoy local cruises for fun and trips to the woods for picnics. It get far more attention than the bigger TJ-6!

Learned to drive in this bad boy. 1954 CJ-2B Willys that my grandpa used as a ranch vehicle and it’s still alive and kickin’. Converted it to a 12 volt system about a decade ago and completely rebuilt the original engine. It’ll rattle your teeth out but will go absolutely anywhere.

I wish I still had pics of my 77 CJ7. That was a great ride. Eight inch lift, 39" Gumbo Monster Mudders. Automatic. Quadra-tec 4wd system.

Great thread! The oldest I go is a TJ, which I miss badly. My youngest son and I (now 12) are conspiring on buying one and 5.7 Hemi swapping for him to drive, don’t tell the wife! Here’s a couple of crappy pics, the hood bra was tossed in the trash asap after I bought it. Bonus one of my ‘10 JK as well, AEV lift with 33” tires it was a great Jeep.

I restored my 1951 CJ3A back in 2010. I learned to drive on it back in the early 70s. But it was a rust bucket then

Saw one just like it in Tampa not to long ago and had to take a ? ... the owner and I chatted for 1/2 hour about Jeeps ... ?

One of my favorites and not mine. This Commando was at the last PNW Jamboree. So cool. And he wheels it!

My dad had a 69 commando that I basically took over as a 16 year old. it was a beat up farm truck/ battle wagon. Gosh
how I wish he had held on to it.
