[Q). If you want leather you can always have a Katzkin installer do any color on the market besides the Black and Tan the factory offers; get a perforated model if you want to do AC in the seats (I have seen a mod for that). t.

I checked out the a/c seat option with the company who did those in my Colorado. They said they couldn't do it in the Gladiator because of sensors under the passenger seat. The recommended perforated leather because it can breathe some.

What is lost in the factory cargo system fine print is that it adds the in bed plug on the right rear.
It's only a 300-400 w inverter though.... About $45-50 if that to buy one, not that handy for me I've got a few inverter's and haven't used one in probably 15 years.? I try to get 12v stuff mainly but I live in my Scamp T.T. for last 10 years for most part.

There's a thread or two on this where guys have done it themselves. I have never had them so I don't know what I am missing.

Because of my situation of living on Guam I had the choice of going with a $48K Willys with only a hardtop, auto, and bed liner through the military sales or a $62K Willys with all the options I wanted from the local dealer.

I chose the lesser of the two expensive options. The only real parts I’m having a hard time sourcing is a tow hitch and good LED tail lights Most of the other options I’m able to get aftermarket. If I was in a different buying situation I would have gone with the aux switches, tow package, and maybe the LED package.

So military auto sales is still sticking it to the service members I hear, "they" got me when I ordered my MJ in 91, it was supposed to waiting for me when I arrived back in USA. I got it months later.? I had already made about 6 payments on it. Fuel on the fire of it, limited options and paid more than if I bought it in USA.

I have been patiently waiting to pull the trigger on an Rubicon EcoDiesel Jt and get back on the rocks. I was hoping some of you fine jeepers might be able to help me weigh my options when it comes to what I should add to the window sticker.

What options are must have from the dealer? I know certain options like proximity entry and remote starts are better to buy with the truck. I have also looked around the forum and found other options, i.e. headliners (hot head) and auxiliary switches (amazon?) that are either a bit less expensive or function better that the jeep factory add-ons.

I would really appreciate the your opinion based off your experiences and what you have seen on the forum.

**bonus points if you can recommend a dealer willing to discount this endeavor. I am located in SD but willing to travel for the right price!
We picked up our Jt Ecodiesel Rubicon in January. We live in Southern California. Because we are had Rebel off road install the lift, and tires, Jeep gave us $1,000 off of their cost. The computers are getting more sensitive to changes, so we ordered led package. My wife loves the heated leather seats. The upgraded stereo was also a good choice. We added the headliner and bed liner later. The color match 3 piece top was a great choice. We decided to go color match fenders for the look and lack of plastic maintenance. The aux switches were a good choice as well. So easy to hook up. You can name each switch and it shows up on the dash what you have turned on. We went for the Rubicon package for the lockers and stronger axles and away bar disconnect. The Diesel was overwhelming the best choice. With a 3 " Rock Krawer lift and 37's, I still get 24 on the road with lots of power.

Yes sir haha because the local deal prices are so high the military puro sales doesn’t have to adjust their prices at all because someone is guaranteed to buy it before it even makes it to the island. I expect this to be my only time to deal with them

So if you sell a PCS shipped vehicle there is there a territory sales tax (VAT) too? (Not that it matters to me now) ? I'm not going to be PCS'ing there.

I noticed this. Could be nice for a camp fridge or whatever.
I added 12v power ports in bed where the 120v ac would have been for fridge freezer and other stuff.

Since it is a US territory I do not believe so. I sold my JKUR that I brought from the states and had no issues. Guam makes you pay a 4% sales tax for imported vehicles you own less than 90 days. I had to pay that for the gladiator to be shipped here
