Nope. Not needed according to oracle and they seem to work fine so far. Plug and play replacement for halogen or led equipped JT’s. They do have the proximity sensors but I do not have them on my truck so I cannot attest to how they perform.
Can you explain the proximity sensor statement? I wasn’t aware the lights were related to that. Is proximity sensor the same as blind spot sensor? I’m thinking about getting these and mine does have blind spot sensors. I second the question about fitment being not as good as factory. Can you elaborate please?

Yes minimal gaps. Definitely not a terrible fit but not quite what you would expect from OEM equipment. I’m not unhappy with the fit. They fit better than most aftermarket parts I’ve seen or installed.
Do you mind sharing some close up pics of the fitment? They really do look great.

Here are a few pics of the minor gaps. You guys worried about a sloppy fit should have never bought a Jeep! Just kidding.

I don’t see those as gaps. Looks great to me. Thanks.

Looks great OP!
This is all I see when I look at the back of JT’s. It’s even more obvious with smoked taillights (guilty!)!

Yes

My Factory taillights had 0 gaps so I am just comparing the Oracles to what I had. I am not complaining or saying don’t buy them because they fit sloppy. They are a huge improvement over the factory lights.

Read the description on the Oracle website. I am not into all of the advanced safety features and sensors and how they integrate.

Would it be possible to show photos/videos of the lights on (Running, Brake, Turn, Reverse)? These really look fantastic, and the fit and finish in the photos looks far better than the aftermarket lights I have now.

I can’t upload the video I took as the file is too big to upload. It’s raining now so it will have to wait.

No worries at all! We’re all just antsy to see them finally being installed on someone’s JT!

Thanks for sharing the close up pics. That's not bad. I'd be interested in a video as well of them lit up at night or at dusk.

Thanks again!

So it won’t let me upload a 22 second video showing all of the tail light functions. I will show the 6 second video of the left turn signal though!
