I have a 23 JTM with halogen lights
Just received oracle flush taillights, and have read a lot of conflicting information.
Is it better to use the Oracle supplied resistors with no software changes, or to not use them and set ECU with Jscan that I already have?
Any help is appreciated!

I installed the Oracle tail lights on my 23 JTR and set the computer to LED's with a Tazer Mini. My opinion is the fewer parts you add the fewer parts to fail. Lights work great.

I have run the Oracles since introduction... Did Jscan to switch system to LED.. Still GOOD Today.. 21 Mojave.. Also switched heads to LED Bulbs, Driving lights and added the Oracle back up light/reflectors in the bumpers .. Jscan switch to LED in system. All Work great and do not have to leave the Donagle pluged in on the OBD port; IMO big feature with Jscan.

Ditto Tazer or JSCAN. Both can make the change to LED. After you make the feature change, you can remove the Tazer too. If you leave it in, there are features that it can do beyond making the simple feature changes JSCAN can do. It also does not plug into the OBD port as others have stated.

Yes, JSCAN can make the feature change like the Tazer Mini. Please note the Tazer does not plug into the OBD port and it does not not have to be left in after you make a feature change like this. IF you want to leave it in, it offers things that Jscan can not do.

If you already have a Tazer/JScan, it's simple enough to just switch it.

If you don't have one, though, just use the resistors. Nothing wrong with that either. Don't buy a Tazer/Jscan just because you got these lights.

Installed using Jscan. Working perfectly so far. Will post any update.
Thank you all for the advice!

If you have access to the ability to program (which the JScan will do) then switching to LED will be a great solution. If you don't have access to that then the resistors will do the trick.
